Stacey and Michael Magovern, the owners of Lonestar Lake Spot RV Park and Convenience Store located at 7195 U.S. Highway 180 West, teamed up with the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting on Friday morning, Nov. 5.

The store, which is located west of the public boat ramp, is stocked with a variety of items, including snacks, beverages and travel-sized toiletries. There are also other products, such as t-shirts, caps, soup mixes, honey and honey-based products, handmade soaps and more.

The Magoverns said they plan to expand the store and add additional inventory. They have an ongoing list of requests from the community. “We want it to be a store that caters to the local community,” Michael said.

They are also trying to buy products that are made in America, Stacey added.

Currently, the RV park is almost totally full and has been since they opened in February, according to Michael.

They store’s two-day grand opening celebration continues today, Saturday, Nov. 6, with Lake Country Radio, KLXK 93.5 FM  broadcasting live from their location this morning.
