Sally Palacio Ponce
Sally Palacio Ponce, 62, of Cisco, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021. Her funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories, with Ruben Castenada officiating. Her burial at Truscott Cemetery in Knox County will immediately follow the funeral service. The family will welcome friends for a visitation at the funeral home from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021.
Sally Palacio Ponce was born on January 30, 1959, in Crowell, Texas, to parents Guadalupe Q. Palacio and Matilda Gallegos Palacio. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her time to providing the utmost care for her family.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Matilda; two brothers, Ernest Palacio and Guadalupe Palacio Jr.; and three sisters, Sylvia Palacio, Sandra Palacio, and Rosa Palacio.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Noe Rodriguez of Cisco; daughter, Misty Perez of Cisco; three sons, James Rodriguez of Cisco, Noe Rodriguez Jr. and wife Jaclyn of Cisco, and Chris Rodriguez and wife Mikel of Joshua; sister, Gloria Arriola and husband Gilbert of Breckenridge; brother, Pete Palacio and wife Maria of Abilene; nine grandchildren, Tanisha Reeve and wife Cassy, Rylee Reyes, Aubrey Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez, Konner Rodriguez, Barrett Rodriguez, Kase Rodriguez, Kenize Rodriguez, and Remmington Rodriguez; along with two great-grandchildren, Asher Reeve and Amelia Reeve.
Memorial donations in Sally’s name can be made to a charity or organization of the donor’s choice and can be left at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home office. Condolences can be made online at meltonkitchens.com.
