Donald “DJ” Martin Jr., 30, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. The family is planning a ceremony to celebrate his life at a later date. This gathering will be a private, invitation-only event for family and close friends.
DJ was born on September 3, 1991, to parents Donald Martin and Cretia Coykendall. He was a loving father, son, and brother. His favorite thing was to be with his family and loved ones every day. He was a natural comedian, making it impossible to be in the same place as him and not constantly laughing. One hobby he had involved anything he could take apart and put back together — he was always working on something. DJ loved anything that was a challenge to him, especially when he could learn something new from it!
DJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Lenda Martin, and his stepdad, Keith Coykendall.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Martin and Cretia Coykendall; sons, Tripp Martin and Cayson Martin; brother, Dustin Witcher and wife Jessica; sister, Ashley Reger and husband Derek; grandparents, Davide and Linda Giles; along with six nieces and one nephew.
