Bernard Andrew Lorence, Sr.
Bernard Lorence, Sr., age 78, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, in the Breckenridge Cemetery with Bishop W.C. Roach officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Bernard Andrew Lorence was born September 28, 1942, in Maryland to parents Floyd Lorence and Margaret Webster Lorence. Bernard lived in Albany for several years and moved to Breckenridge in 2011. He worked as a warehouse loader for Abilene Food Supply. Bernard enjoyed doing puzzles, watching movies, fishing and bird watching.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sally Lorence; two brothers; and two sons.
Mr. Lorence is survived by his wife, Cathy Moore of Breckenridge; his daughters, Crystal Darlene Bell and husband Steve of Stamford, and Melissa Lynn Jones and fiancé Melvin Henry of Texarkana; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
