Dwayne Roach
Dwayne Roach, age 53, of Breckenridge, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at The Lighthouse Church with Rev. Mike McConaughey and Rev. Brent Crosswhite officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at The Lighthouse Church.
William Dwayne Roach was born February 19, 1968, in Lufkin, Texas, to Winston C. Roach and Frances Weeks Roach. Dwayne was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, volunteer at the Lighthouse Christian Academy and an honorary deputy sheriff of the Stephens County Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dewitt and Tennie Roach; and his maternal grandparents, William and Lila Weeks.
Dwayne is survived by his parents, Rev. Winston C. Roach and Frances Roach; four siblings, Regina Thomason and husband Russ, Talisha Roach, Michael Roach and wife Cori, and Kevin Roach and wife Melissa; nieces and nephews, Kala Johnson and husband David, Whitney Stultz, Emily Stultz, J.D. Davis and wife Paola, Jessica Davis, Brianna Davis, Aaron Roach, Levi Roach, and Kadin Roach; and numerous great-nieces and -nephews; also family in his heart, Brent and Kelly Crosswhite, Katie Patrick and husband Chad, Joel Crosswhite and wife Megan.
