The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center hosted a reception on Saturday for the artists featured in the center’s most recent exhibit, and now BFAC Director Shalon Taylor Wilson will spend the next few weeks getting ready for the 3oth annual Juried Art Show.

Breckenridge residents had a chance to visit with some of the artists whose work was on display in the The PACT (Professional Artists of Central Texas) exhibit, which includes 13 artists: Joanna Burch, Karen Cruce, Joel Edwards, Linda Filgo, Mark Kieran, Greg Lewallen, Cory Lind, Kevin Malone, Kimberly Merck-Moore, Kay Reinke, Judi Simon, Susan Sistrunk, and Melanie Stokes.

Saturday was the last day for the exhibit. For more pictures from the reception, click here to see the Breckenridge Texan’s Photo Gallery.

For the next three weeks, Wilson will work on the Juried Art Show exhibit. Although there will not be a featured show on display during that time, the BFAC’s permanent exhibits — All That Glitters: Festival Dresses of Texas, Kathryn Leach Doll Collection, and some art pieces — will be open to visitors.

The Juried Art Show will be on exhibit July 6 through Aug. 28, with the reception scheduled for the final day of the exhibit.
