Breckenridge High School athletes sign with area colleges

Three Breckenridge High School seniors signed letters of intent to attend area colleges at a signing ceremony on Thursday, May 20, in the BISD Athletics Center. Coaches, BISD teachers and administrators, friends and family were on hand for the signings.

Jonathan Trejo signed with Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene to play football. Kylee Willis signed with the track team at Tarleton State University in Stephenville. Lynsi Hinson signed with the Weatherford College cheer team.

Trejo was an offensive lineman and defensive lineman for the Buckaroos. He was joined for the ceremony by his parents, Brenda and Jesus Trejo.

Willis ran track for the Buckaroos and placed third at the UIL State Track Meet in the high jump earlier this month. Her mom, December Owen, was by her side for the signing.

Hinson is a Buckaroo cheerleader and was joined for the ceremony by her mom, Lynda Hinson.
