Billy White, 73, of Woodson, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in the Chapel of Memories at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home. J.B. Sparks will officiate the service.

Billy was born in Gorman, Texas, on September 12, 1947, to parents Claude and Jennie White. He lived in Breckenridge until 1983 when the family moved to Woodson, Texas, where he would reside for the remainder of his life. During his early years, he worked for Schlitz Beer Distributing delivering beer. He also was a retired self-employed welder as well as a farmer/rancher. His hobbies included gambling, going to the County Line Beer Joint, taking care of cattle, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Jennie White of Breckenridge. He was also preceded in death by brothers Roy White of Abilene, Jack White of Breckenridge, and Mickie White of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Jeana White of Woodson; his only daughter, Christie White of Woodson; grandkids, Tyler Brooks of Abilene and Jeannie Killian of Breckenridge; and great-granddaughters, Irie Perez and Lyla Perez of Breckenridge. He is also survived by his nephew, Coby White of Breckenridge; niece, Jennifer White of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and sister-in-law, Barbara McCarthy of Breckenridge.
