Breckenridge High School students place at district UIL meet
Twenty-two Breckenridge High School students recently competed in the district UIL academic meet in Wichita Falls, with two advancing to the regional level.
Peyton McPhail placed second and Trey McPhail placed third in the mathematics competition. They will be participating in a virtual, regional meet today, Friday, April 16.
Kimberly Best, UIL coordinator for BHS, said that the regional contest is usually held at Abilene Christian University, but that they did not opt to host the event this year. So, the virtual meet was arranged.
The district meet was held at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls on March 24-25.
