Jackie Parker, age 66, of Jacksboro, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the Breckenridge Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 29, at Morehart Mortuary.

Jackie Lois Jones was born November 24, 1954, in Crane, Texas, to Roy Lee Jones and Leona Norwood Jones. She married Woody Parker on September 3, 1980, in Breckenridge. Jackie loved going to garage sales, her dogs and family trips to Possum Kingdom. She loved her grandkids and great-grandkids and will be remembered as the family “weather lady.”

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leroy; and, three sisters, Winnie, Sue and Bonnie.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Woody Parker of Jacksboro; two children, Shela Curtis and husband Tim, and Dino Shelton, all of Breckenridge; six grandchildren, Aureila Shelton, Zoejane Curtis, Tagle Curtis, Isobell Shelton, Jackson Shelton, and Taz Curtis; three great-grandchildren, Autumn Goss, Alexander Goss and Ariana Shelton; multiple nieces and nephews; and her cousin but more like a sister, Vivian Hazelip and husband John.
