Stephens Memorial launches weekly flyer to provide COVID-19 information update
In an effort to reach local residents in the community who may not have access to the Internet or social media, Stephens Memorial Hospital has created a one-page, informational flyer about the local COVID-19 situation that can be posted by community organizations, churches and businesses.
The flyer is created and updated each week by Chris Curtis, Director of Business Development at SMH, and then sent as a PDF file attachment by email. The file can then be downloaded from the email, printed out, and posted on bulletin boards, walls, doors or anywhere that members of the community can see it.
Curtis also said he is open to any ideas or suggestions for including additional information on the flyer that would be beneficial to keeping the community informed on the COVID-19 situation.
In addition to providing the weekly flyer, SMH also provides daily updates Monday-Friday on their Facebook page that tells how many new cases are diagnosed each day, the number of active cases and other information.
