Richard Wayne Devin
Richard Wayne Devin, 79, husband to Pat Devin of Breckenridge, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2020, at Stephens Memorial Hospital. His cremation has taken place under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home staff.
Mr. Devin was born on April 10, 1941, in Haigler, Nebraska, to parents Emmett and Grace Devin. He graduated from Crystal Lake High School in Iowa prior to serving in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1967. He married his wife, Pat, on October 22, 1966, before having three children.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Devin of Breckenridge, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Dwayne Fuhrman of Huntington Beach, California; daughter and son-in-law, La Donna and Troy Bristow of Hawley, Texas; and daughter and son-in-law Karen and Chris Eaton of Breckenridge, Texas. Mr. Devin is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Emmett and Grace Devin of Iowa, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Devin of Oklahoma; sister, Marietta Brood of Iowa; and grandson, Gregory Devin of Breckenridge, Texas.
