Patricia Renchler, 63, of Breckenridge went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2020. Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on December 14, at the Gunsight Baptist Church with Worth Mayes officiating the service while under the direction of Melton Kitchens Funeral Home.

Patricia was born in La Junta, Colorado, to parents Patricio and Yolanda Aguilar. She grew up in Rocky Ford, Colorado, with her brother and three sisters, and eventually set down roots in Breckenridge, Texas, which became a place she loved and called home.

Patricia taught in the Breckenridge ISD for 19 years where she forged many friendships and touched countless lives of her students and fellow teachers. She was a Buckaroo through and through!

Patricia did everything BIG! She loved big, she hugged tightly, she talked loudly, and laughed even louder. To know her was to love her.

She is survived by her daughter, Alice Perez (Brian Otero); grandchildren, Antonio Perez (Kristen Thompson) and Sophia Moun; great-grandchildren, Crimsen Thompson, Harlyn Thompson, Avis and Silas Perez; mother, Yolanda Aguilar; brother, Michael Aguilar (Virginia); sisters, Elaine Alexander (Gary), Teresa Aguilar (Jeff Goorman), and Amy Cockerham (Derek); nephew, Richard Aguilar; niece, Kathryn (Pat) Nay; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Patricio Aguilar, and grandson, Emmanuel Perez-Vargas.

Memorial can be made in her name to any Breckenridge School Charity or fundraiser associated with the school and may be left at the Melton Kitchens Funeral Home. Condolences may be made at meltonkitchens.com.
