Johnie Brown
Johnie Brown, age 60, of Breckenridge, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Johnie Lee Reynolds was born on April 13, 1960, in Knox City, Texas, to parents, JB Reynolds and Ina Guthrie Reynolds. She graduated high school in Knox City. On August 24, 1977, Johnie married Thurman Irving “Pete” Brown in Knox City. Johnie worked as a home health aide for Girling Home Health for several years. She volunteered with the local food bank and was always helping those in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and could spend hours at the lake. Johnie loved her grandchildren more than anything and enjoyed family time.
She was preceded in death by her father, JB Reynolds; and one brother, John Reynolds.
Johnie is survived by her husband, Pete Brown of Breckenridge; her mother, Ina Reynolds of Breckenridge; three children, Jeremy Brown and wife Trina of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Patrick Brown and wife Missy of Copperas Cove, and Amanda Owen and husband Tyler of Breckenridge; five sisters, Kay Reynolds, Jennifer Horton, both of Breckenridge, Diane Reynolds of Knox City, Kathy Benson of Seymour, and Betty Reynolds of Bedford; one brother, Billy Reynolds of Breckenridge; nine grandchildren, September Owen, Shawn Brown, Jordan Brown, Bently Scott, Destiney Almaguer, Tristan Brown, Kevin Brown, Caeden Brown, Raelynn Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
