Sue Burrows, age 83, of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 16, at Elliott Street Church of Christ with Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 15, at Morehart Mortuary.

Jimmie Sue Hallmark was born June 15, 1937, in Gorman, Texas, to George Hallmark and Ozy Eison Hallmark. After high school, Sue attended Abilene Christian University, where she earned her BS in Psychology. On June 15, 1964, she married George Felton Burrows in Gorman. Sue was a homemaker but also sold Stanley home products and Amway. She enjoyed cooking and doing needle point. She was also a member of Elliott Street Church of Christ and loved spending time with her church family and helping with World Bible School.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ozy Hallmark; her husband, George Burrows; four brothers, Tom, Bid, Horace, and Bobby; and three sisters, Dean, Nell and Wilma Ruth.

Mrs. Burrows is survived by two sons, George Russell Burrows and wife Neely of Graham, and Thomas Bradley Burrows and wife Tanya of Cypress; one sister, Joy Rogers of Atlanta, Texas; eight grandchildren, Mich Burrows and wife Nichole, Holden Burrows, Hayden Burrows, Barron Burrows, Axton Burrows, Keaton Burrows, Bailey Burrows, Autumn Burrows; and seven great-grandchildren, Keira Burrows, Blayne Burrows, Brody Burrows, Braylee Burrows, Karly Burrows, Kasyn Burrows and Noah Constancio.

Memorials may be made to the account at First National Bank in memory of Sue to help with the maintenance of Villa Haven and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
