Dean Leroy McNett
Dean Leroy McNett, 71, of Gruver, Texas, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Gruver Cemetery in Hansford County, Texas.
Dean was born on August 8,1949, to Clarence and Doris McNett in Wellington, Kansas. Dean then married the love of his life, Saundra Rasor, on January 8, 1976, in Guymon, Oklahoma. Shortly thereafter, they settled down in Gruver, where he had been a resident since. Dean was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed staying at the rodeo arena late into the evenings watching his sons and grandson rope as well as his granddaughters run barrels. He may have been a man of few words, but he was well-liked by everyone.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife Saundra McNett, parents Clarence and Doris, sister Marie McNett, and brother Terry McNett.
Dean is survived by sons Kevin McNett and wife Julie of Breckenrdge, and Kyle McNett and wife Stephanie of Breckenridge; brothers Ira McNett of Rose Hill, Kansas, and Roy McNett and wife Penny of Andover, Kansas; as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
