Sewer line installation project on North Breckenridge Avenue leads to lane closures

Beginning this week, Breckenridge motorists should expect various lane closures and traffic shifts on North Breckenridge Avenue due to the start of sewer line installation on U.S. Highway 183 North, according to information from the Texas Department of Transportation.
Work will begin at the intersection of U.S. highways 183 and 180 and continue to the intersection of County Road 257. Traffic will be reduced to two lanes, one in each direction of travel, for the duration of the project. Drivers are encouraged to plan an alternate route if possible or allow extra time to get to their destination.
Drivers are reminded to obey warning signs, slow your speed, and avoid any distractions when driving through work zones.
