Teresa Casillas
Teresa Casillas, age 56, of Breckenridge, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., Sunday, July 26, at the family residence, 809 N. Smith.
Teresa Casillas was born December 14, 1963, in Mexico to parents Petronilo and Celia Casillas. In 1982, she married Refugio Hernandez in Mexico. She attended church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Teresa enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Carmen Casillas; and one brother, Javier Casillas.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Refugio Hernandez of Breckenridge; three children, Maria Hernandez and husband Efrain Pulgarin of Breckenridge, Laura Hernandez and Mike McGuire of Abilene, and Azucena Hernandez of Breckenridge; four sisters, Rosaura Casillas, Sara Almendariz, Maria Casillas, and Maria Elena Casillas; six brothers, Francisco Casillas, Ricardo Casillas, Juan Casillas, Jose Manuel Casillas, Jose Alfredo Casillas, and Jaime Casillas; four grandchildren, Efrain Pulgarin, Ulises Pulgarin, Joel Pulgarin, and Mayte Pulgarin; and numerous other relatives.

Teresa Casillas nació el 14 de Diciembre de 1963 en Mexico a sus padres Petronilo y Celia Casillas. En 1982, se caso con Refugio Hernandez en Mexico. Ella atendía a la iglesia Católica Del Sagrado Corazon. A Teresa le gustaba la jardinería, cocinar y cuidar de su familia especialmente sus nietos.
Ella fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres; una hermana, Carmen Casillas; y un hermano, Javier Casillas.
A Teresa le sobreviven su esposo, Refugio Hernandez de Breckenridge; tres hijas, Maria Hernandez y su esposo Efrain Pulgarin de Breckenridge, Laura Hernandez y Mike McGuire de Abilene, Azucena Hernandez de Breckenridge; cuatro hermanas, Rosaura Casillas, Sara Almendariz, Maria Casillas, Maria Elena Casillas; seis hermanos, Francisco Casillas, Ricardo Casillas, Juan Casillas, Jose Manuel Casillas, Jose Alfredo Casillas, Jaime Casillas; cuatro nietos, Efrain Pulgarin, Ulises Pulgarin, Joel Pulgarin, Mayte Pulgarin; y numerosos mas familiares.
