Breckenridge Texan

Seventy Breckenridge High School students earned the annual Bucks Award for the 2019-2020 school year. The award is given to students who have a proven track record of academic achievement.

To earn the Bucks Award, students must meet the following criteria:

• 9th Grade – 3.5 GPA – Completion of 1 honors course
• 10th grade – 3.5 GPA – Completion of 1 honors course
• 11th Grade – 3.6 GPA – Completion of 2 honors courses
• 12th Grade – 3.65 GPA – Completion of 2 honors courses

Typically, the students receive their awards at the school’s annual awards ceremony. But, this year, the coronavirus pandemic prevented the ceremony from taking place.

The seniors received their acknowledgement and Bucks Award at graduation. Students in grades 9-11 may pick up their awards at the high school office.
