Amy Monroy
Amy Monroy, age 28 of Breckenridge, passed away May 1, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Father Dias officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Morehart Mortuary.
Amy Marisela Monroy was born January 16, 1992, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents, Jose Monroy and Maria Ramirez Monroy. She graduated from Breckenridge High School in 2010 and attended Cisco College. Amy enjoyed painting and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved playing loteria, pampering herself and her dogs and going on trips to Vegas and casinos. She loved being a nanny and loving on any kids, but most of all she loved being a mommy to her precious daughter, Audree Marie Monroy, who she is with now. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Audree Marie Monroy.
She is survived by her parents, Jose and Maria Monroy of Breckenridge; two brothers, Luis Ramirez and wife Laura, and Andy Monroy, all of Breckenridge; three nephews, Luis Ramirez, Anthony Ramirez, and Mateo Ramirez; one niece, Alexis Ramirez; two great-nephews; one great-niece; Audree’s Godparents, Charles and Lourdes Carter; numerous aunts and uncles; many cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.
