Breckenridge Independent School District administrators have announced that the employee who thought she might have COVID-19 has tested negative for the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Last week, the district informed the community that an employee who helped hand out student instructional packets to parents on April 6 had later been notified by her doctor that she might have been exposed to the virus on April 2. As a precaution, she was tested for the virus and self-quarantined at home.
The school district has since decided to mail packets to students’ homes rather than have them picked up.
