Jerry Wayne Kuhn, 56, of Breckenridge, passed away February 24, 2020, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at the Gunsight Baptist Church, February 29, 2020, at 1 p.m. with Rex Boggs officiating. Private interment will follow at Hart Cemetery under the direction of Melton Kitchens Funeral Home.

Jerry Wayne was born on September 3, 1963, in Denison, Texas, to parents Charles and Maxine Kuhn. He grew up in Leonard, Texas, and graduated from high school in 1981. After graduation he moved to Breckenridge. Jerry worked for several businesses in Breckenridge before going to work for Kuhn’s Office Supply. Later he came to work for Kuhn’s Exotic Ranch. Soon as that Jerry ventured out into opening his own business called, Jerry’s Trim Shop. He operated his business until a serious motorcycle accident left him unable to work. Jerry was a member of the Gunsight Baptist Church. He also served as a youth leader for a while.

Jerry is survived by his father and step mother, Charles and Helen Kuhn; stepsisters, Paula Franco and husband Rudy of Gardendale, Texas, and Denise Leach and husband Cliff of Paris, Texas; step brother, Bryan Boehler and wife Valary of Paris, Texas; uncle, RC Kuhn of Leonard, Texas; stepchildren, Katrina Jackson, Brian Tribble and Scott Tribble; two outstanding friends, Scottie Haigwood and Carl Garvin, who worked alongside of him at the ranch; numerous nieces and nephews; also a host of friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Smith, and grandparents.
