The Stephens County Republican Party will sponsor a candidate forum on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for those running for the office of Texas State Representative in District 60.

The forum will be at the TSTC Technology Center in the 400 block of North Breckenridge Avenue. All four candidates have been invited, and three have confirmed their attendance: Jon Francis of Cisco, Christopher Perricone of Mineral Wells, and Kellye SoRelle of Granbury. Glenn Rogers of Graford has a conflict and will not attend, according to a news release from the forum organizers.

The doors will open at 4 p.m. with a short meet-and-greet time with the candidates. At about 4:30 p.m., the forum will start with each candidate having an opportunity to make opening comments and give their positions on anything that they want the attendees to know about them. Following opening comments, the candidates will be asked a variety of policy questions of interest to voters of HD 60 with each having the opportunity to respond and state their position. The forum will continue until about 6 p.m.

The forum will be open to the public, and citizens will have opportunity to hear from and talk to the candidates before early voting starts on Feb. 18 and the Primary Election on March 3.

Light snacks and refreshments will be available, and the visitation time with the candidates will continue after the question period ends and as long as candidates desire to visit.
