Carol Roseberry-Nichols

Carol Roseberry-Nichols, age 64 of Eastland, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020, in the Breckenridge Cemetery. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at Morehart Mortuary.

Carol Jean Roseberry was born October 18, 1955, in Hamlin, Texas, to parents Fred Roseberry and Betty Jean Boles Roseberry. She grew up and attended schools in Crane. Carol worked as a cashier at Ray’s Grocery as well as at Walmart . She loved to crochet, and would try her hand at anything you could think of to crochet. She also enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers. Carol loved to love, and her family was at the top of the list, especially her grandchildren. Being “Memaw” was a title she proudly wore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Betty Jean Roseberry; and one son, Lonnie Boggs, Jr.

Carol is survived by her husband, Britt Briles of Eastland; two children, Stephanie Blue and husband Russell of Breckenridge, and Rusty Nichols and wife Sherrill of Odessa; one brother, Mike Roseberry and wife Derinda of Midland; one sister, Sharon Turner and husband Radney of Chandler; five grandchildren, De’Cymber McNabb (Tyler), Coltin Boggs (Kelli), Dillon Diaz (Whitney), Brandon Nichols, Jessica Fischer; four great-grandchildren, Connor Diaz, Blanton McNabb, and Scarlett and Sawyer Boggs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at Morehart Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.morehartmortuary.net.
