It’s time for the annual Breckenridge Craft Guild Show. The event, showcasing everything from hand-made quilts to home-canned jellies and from hand-crafted leather items to rustic wood crafts and much more, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23 and 24.

The Craft Guild Show will be at the First United Methodist Church’s Christian Life Center, 419 W. Walker. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There is a $1 admission charge that will be donated to local charities.

This year’s craft show will include a visit from Santa Claus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23. Children can come visit with Santa and parents can take their pictures.

This show will feature the arts and crafts of more than 15 vendors, as well as some food cooked by The Kitchen.

The organization donates the proceeds from the craft show admission fee to local charities. In the past, they have donated to Meals on Wheels, for breast cancer awareness and research and organizations providing children’s clothing and shoes.

Additionally, the craft show organizer, Lena Stockton, will donate a portion of her sales to the Texas Elks Camp, which provides special needs children with a summer camp.
