James Leon Wolfenbarger was born September 20, 1937, in Mariposa, California, to Olen Tilman Wolfenbarger and Linnie Opal Gore Wolfenbarger-Dye. He went to work at R.E. Dye Manufacturing for several years after his discharge from the military. He later went to work as a letter carrier until his retirement. Jim enjoyed nature and camping, but above all, his favorite thing was loving and supporting his kids and grandkids in all their endeavors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen Wolfenbarger and Linnie Gore-Dye; three brothers, Johnny Wolfenbarger, Phil Wolfenbarger, Hal Wolfenbarger; and his father- and mother-in-law, Tal and Evelyn White.

Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy Wolfenbarger of Fort Worth; two children, Joni Anthony and husband Wade, and Tori Hayes, all of Fort Worth; one brother, John Carl Dye of San Antonio; nine grandchildren, Kylie Jaimes-Brown and husband Tristen, Jonah Anthony, Kennedy Williams, Renae Anthony, Sophie James Hayes, Jada Anthony, Morgan Thompson, Parker Anthony, and Preston Anthony; and many nieces and nephews.
