BHS Theater students to present ‘The Addams Family’ this week
Breckenridge High School’s Buckaroo Theater students will present the musical “The Addams Family” in Bailey Auditorium on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets will cost $5 per person. The musical will be presented at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, and Saturday, Nov. 16, and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17.
The musical is a two-act play created for schools and other young theater groups. The musical is based on the Broadway musical of the same name and features the “mysterious and spooky” family that generations have known through cartoons, a TV show, movies and stage productions.
The premise of the musical is that the Addams Family daughter, Wednesday, has fallen in love with a boy from a “normal” family. The problems that both families face are brought to light when his family comes to the Addams’ home for dinner.
