Stephens Memorial Hospital celebrated the completion of two newly renovated patient rooms with a ribbon cutting earlier this month.

The funds for the rooms were donated by the Goodall family in memory of Dr. Edwin Goodall and by Janette Caviness in memory of her mother, Marie Turner, who was a “Pink Lady” (Stephens Memorial Hospital Auxiliary member) at the hospital.

“Without donations like these, we wouldn’t be able to have wonderful rooms like these,” said Matthew Kempton, hospital administrator.

Additionally, the recent “Make Room for Art” fundraiser generated about $10,000 in donations that will be used to renovate one more room.
