Gary Boyd
Gary Boyd, age 55 of Fort Worth, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Michael Roach officiating. Interment will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, at Morehart Mortuary.
Gary Dewayne Boyd was born on June 30, 1964, to parents Danny Ray Boyd and Effie Mae Campbell in Poteau, Oklahoma. After his high school graduation, Gary joined the United States Army. On April 12, 1986, he married Teresa Shirley in Breckenridge. Gary worked as a warehouse supervisor for Parker Hannifin. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Boyd; one brother, Ray Boyd; one sister, Trenda Boyd; and one daughter, Carla Gann.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Teresa Boyd of Fort Worth; his mother, Effie Mae Huffman of Midland; one son, Justin Boyd and wife Sara of Arlington; one brother, Larry Boyd and wife Dawn of Arlington; two sisters, Sharon Burros and husband Matt of Caldwell, and Belinda Taylor and husband Tommy of Midland; and four grandchildren, Mira Gann, Destiny Gann, Cassidy Gann, Regan Bertram-Boyd.
