‘Sips of Summer’ brings wineries to Breckenridge for tasting
Earlier this month, the Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce gave local residents an opportunity to try the various offerings from several Texas wineries. The Sips of Summer Wine Tasting took place Aug. 2 at Shawna’s Bake Barn.
As Matt Stapp provided the musical entertainment, attendees visited the booths of participating wineries, which included D’Vine Wine of Granbury, Lucky Vines Vineyard and Winery of Dublin, Rancho Loma Vineyards of Coleman, and Spirit of Texas Winery of Early. Each winery offered tastings of several different wines, and attendees could purchase full glasses or bottles of wine.
Additionally, hors d’oeuvres were provided by The Rusty Rooster.
The event was a fundraiser for the Chamber, and a silent auction raised additional funds.
