Elementaries to host Meet the Teacher today; East now offering full-day Pre-K
All three Breckenridge elementary schools will have Meet the Teacher events today, Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 1 to 6 p.m.
All students must be registered through the Breckenridge Independent School District in order to receive their teacher assignments and schedules. Registration can be completed online through the BISD website. For directions on registering, click here to go to the BISD website. East Elementary has a new offering this year — full-day Pre-K. BISD now has PreK for all eligible 4- year olds from 7:55 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Bus transportation will be provided. Interested parents/guardians can stop by East to see if their child is eligible. Parents must bring proof of income, shot record, social security card, and birth certificate. Also taking place today will be the Bronco Roundup at Breckenridge Junior High School. Students may pick up their schedules and tour the campus with a BJHS cheerleader from 5:30 to 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 13. Students must have all shots updated and have a complete registration in order to pick up schedule. They need to check in with the nurse in the Computer Lab in the main hallway; then, take the pass to cafeteria to continue to the information stations.
In BISD, school will start on Thursday, Aug. 15.
