Chamber to host wine tasting event on Friday, Aug. 2
The Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce will host a new local event on Friday, Aug. 2 — the “Sips of Summer Wine Tasting.”
The wine tasting will be from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Shawna’s Bake Barn, 2603 W. Walker St. Tickets cost $35 each, purchased in advance at the Chamber of Commerce through noon Friday. Only 125 tickets will be sold. If there are any tickets remaining, they may be purchased at the door Friday evening for $50 each.
The admission ticket will get attendees 10 complimentary wine tastings from several vineyards from around Texas, including:
• Blue Duck Winery
• D’Vine Wine Granbury Texas
• Lucky Vines Vineyard & Winery
• Rancho Loma Vineyards
• Spirit of Texas Winery
Additional glasses or bottles of wine can be purchased from each vendor at the event.
Along with the wine samples, attendees can enjoy hors d’oeuvres provided by The Rusty Rooster and live music by Matt Stapp.
The event will be open to adults 21 and up only, and IDs will be checked at the door.
