Chamber hosts ribbon cutting for The Shack on Hubbard Creek Lake
Breckenridge Chamber of Commerce and community members gathered on Tanglewood Island Tuesday evening for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the official opening of The Shack on Hubbard Creek Lake, a bed and breakfast guest house.
The B&B is owned by Carolyn and Steffan Moore of Breckenridge. It features two bedrooms and is located on the lake.
“We wanted to do something to help the lake (area),” Carolyn Moore said at the ribbon cutting. “We just think there’s so much opportunity out here.”
The Shack is listed on Airbnb, a website listing bed and breakfast lodgings around the world. More information is also available on the website www.theshackonhubbard.com.
