Emma Lorene Malone was born on May 8, 1939, in Elsa, Texas, to the parents Bill and Hazel Malone. As a young lady, she met Bob Cook and eventually he became the love of her life for over 65 years. They lived happily in Breckenridge most of their marriage, raising six children in the town they called home. Rene had the Buckaroo Florist for over 30 years. Her florist and her customers meant the world to her. She ran the Buckaroo Florist until her accident. Rene loved family gatherings, watching car races of any kind especially NASCAR. She enjoyed sewing and made lots of her children’s clothes throughout their younger years. Rene would take the ATV out and drive on their property, looking at their horses and the beautiful scenery on a weekly basis. She always felt complete while serving the community and those she loved. Rene will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Memorials may be made to the local Meals on Wheels in Breckenridge, and may be left at the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home office. Condolences may be made at www.meltonkitchens.com
