Rusty Caraway, age 56 of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Jim Caraway officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Morehart Mortuary.

Rusty Caraway was born December 4, 1962, in Abilene, Texas, to Jim Caraway and Judy Tuttle Caraway. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1981. Rusty attended IEC in Irving to become an electrician. He moved to Breckenridge in 1980. In September of 1989, he met Heather Robertson in Carrolton, Texas, and formed a marriage union. Rusty was a member of Corsicana Westside Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his uncle, Ronnie Tuttle.

Rusty is survived by his wife, Heather Robertson-Caraway of Breckenridge; four children, Amber Caraway Petrin and husband Chris of Guelph, Canada, Lauren Caraway Hughes and husband Harvey Jr. of Dallas, Taylor Robertson-Caraway and JT Robertson-Caraway, both of Breckenridge; his parents, Jim and Judy Caraway of Breckenridge; one brother, Keith Caraway and wife Vicky of Kaysville, Utah; one aunt, Nelda Morrison of Breckenridge; two grandchildren, Sienna Grace and Miles Sandro Petrin; and three nieces and one nephew.
