Connie Meason

Connie Meason, age 67 of Breckenridge, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 13, at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Hall and Chip Pasche officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, at Morehart Mortuary.

Connie Lynn Stubblefield was born January 26, 1952, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents Guy Stubblefield, Jr. and Ruth Evelyn Tomlin Stubblefield. She graduated from Breckenridge High School. On November 27, 1981, Connie married Robert Meason in Fort Worth. She worked as a secretary for Texas A&M AgriLife Research. Connie was full of life and joy, and was often telling jokes. She enjoyed baking, gardening and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Guy Stubblefield, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Meason of Breckenridge; her mother, Ruth Green and husband Bob of Breckenridge; two children, Kelsey Otts and wife Sirena of Breckenridge, and Guy Craig and wife Sandra of Fort Worth; three sisters, Guyla White and husband Wayne of Breckenridge, Debbie Wise and husband Steve of Spring, and Jana Pasche and husband Chip of Tomball; and five grandchildren, Jessica Craig of Richardson, Christopher Otts, Zachary Otts, Abigail Otts, all of Breckenridge, and Nathan Batek and wife Amanda of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and one great-grandchild, Emma Lee Batek.
