Pet Parade showcases Breckenridge’s best dogs

Breckenridge dog owners showed up with their pets — many in costume — for the Pet Parade during the Stephens County Frontier Days on Saturday, May 4.

The event was sponsored by the Stephens County Humane Society, and the following awards were handed out:

Best Costume

1st – “Reese” – Chris Whitehead
2nd – “Pebbles” – Marilyn Tolson
3rd – “Gracey” – Kelyn Collinsworth

Biggest Pet

1st – “Daniel” – Beverly Frishe
2nd – “Gracey” – Kelyn Collinsworth
3rd – “Reese” – Chris Whitehead

Smallest Pet

1st – “Pebbles” – Marilyn Tolson
2nd – “Jacoby” – Dylan Mungia
3rd – “Oscar” – Kinsley Kaylor

Best Owner Pet Look Alike

1st – “Oscar” – Kinsley Kaylor
2nd – “Reese” – Chris Whitehad
3rd – ” Gracey” – Kelyn Collinsworth

Best of Show Adult

Best of Show Puppy

“Jacoby” – Dylan Mungia

Best of Show Rescue

“Bow” – Brittney Melton (Bow was a Breckenridge Shelter rescue dog)
