Brenda Kay Brothers
Brenda Kay Brothers, age 62 passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 17, 2019, in Breckenridge. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Melton-Kitchens Chapel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the staff at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home of Breckenridge.
Brenda was born September 28, 1956, to Earl and Ruth Crosson in Old Glory, Texas. After her school years, she immediately went to work in several nurseries. She always was the “Green Thumb,” for her friends and family. Brenda loved for her yard to always look green and have lots of color. In her later years, she joined the team at Walmart in Graham. She was in management there for the last 10 years.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her caretaker and nephew, Dewey Crosson.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald Lynn Brothers, brothers; Paul, Wendell and Tommy, sisters; Lorene Malone and Patricia Darden.
Brenda is survived by two sisters, Virginia Wester of Denton and Ellen Trammel of Mineral Wells; brothers, Steve Crosson and wife Bobbie of Breckenridge and Richard Crosson and wife Jackie of Abilene; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to the local Meals on Wheels of Breckenridge and may be left at the funeral home office. Condolences can be made at www.meltonkitchens.com.
