Rebecca Ann Bell, age 69 of Boyd, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2019. Family is welcoming friends for a visitation, one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019, 10 a.m. at the Melton-Kitchens Chapel of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Rebecca, the daughter of Robert and Betty Lou Moorehead, was born in Cumberland, Maryland on June 11, 1949. Rebecca took the role as a housewife very serious,she worked as a CAN and loved working with her elderly patients. Her role as a mother was one that she cherished. She loved her house out on Lake Hubbard, most of all sharing it with her family and loved ones. Rebecca enjoyed the outdoors; from fishing to working in the flowerbeds and the yard. She always wanted her yard beautiful as possible. During the holidays she would make her famous cheesecake that everyone loved. In Rebecca’s later years, she loved her conversations with her sister, bestfriend Janet, Facebook and her shows on TV. No matter what came her way, she always took the time to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved to shower them with kisses.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman Bell, and brothers, Oscar Shaw, Richard Shaw, Huey Moorehead and Craig Dayton.

Rebecca is survived by her three children, Angela (Jeannie) Sessums and husband Devin, Toni Shaw, and Bill Bell and wife Tish; sister, Loma Devintenz and husband John; grandchildren, Rhianna Sessums and fiancé Daniel, Bethany Sessums, Layla Ozen, Jeremy Sessums and wife Amanda, Kameron Sessums and wife Tina, Raven Sessums and fiancé Darrell, Chris Bell and wife Jacklyn, Danny Ray, Justin and Amber Navarro and husband Daniel; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and her precious dog, Gunner.
