Sunday, March 1
Amen WHOLE-4 for Faith Communities
Several local residents are bringing the Amen WHOLE-4 for Faith Communities program to Breckenridge, beginning with an introductory session on Sunday, March 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Victory Life Church, 1612 U.S. Highway 180 East. The free program, created by psychiatrist and brain health expert Dr. Daniel G. Amen, is designed to bring faith, fitness, mindset and fellowship into alignment. Those who participate will meet on Sunday afternoons for six weeks for the first portion of the program, followed by another six weeks for the master program. Julie Carstens McNett is serving as the local ambassador for the program, and Yuri Huntington is also involved. Thursday, March 5
Blood Drive
The Breckenridge Rotary Club and Carter BloodCare will host a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at TSTC, 307 N. Breckenridge Ave., room 103. More details to come.
Saturday, March 7
BFAC’s Casino Night
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center will host its annual fundraising Casino Night on Saturday, March 7. The evening will feature classic casino-style games, raffle prizes, auction items, food and refreshments. Tickets cost $50 each or two for $90 and can be ordered online. More details to come.
