Don Screws
Don Screws, age 84 of Clyde, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019. Mr. Screws will be cremated and his family will have a memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Don Cleve Screws was born August 28, 1934, in Tarrant County, Texas, to James Albert Screws and Cornelius Cantrell Screws. He later moved to Breckenridge and graduated from Breckenridge High School. Following graduation, Don served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged. Don was a rock and brick mason in Bell county and was a prolific artifact hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Cornelius Screws; one brother, James Albert Kyle.
Don is survived by one brother, Richard Kyle of Breckenridge; one sister, Shirley Keith and husband Marion of Breckenridge; two nephews and four nieces.
