Lady Bucks to play Nocona High School in bi-district playoff tonight

The Breckenridge High School Lady Buckaroos varsity basketball team is traveling to Mineral Wells today, Monday, Feb. 11, to play the Nocona High School Lady Indians in a bi-district playoff game. Tip-off will be at 6 p.m. in the Mineral Wells High School gym.

The Lady Bucks have an 8-6 district record for District 7-3A, coming in behind Brock, Jacksboro and Peaster. The Lady Indians have a 9-1 district record and are in first place in District 8-3A.

The winner of tonight’s game will go on to play the winner of the Merkel-Coleman game in the Area round of the playoffs later this week.

Local radio station KLXK-93.5 FM will broadcast the game live with Lance “Voice of the Buckaroos” Kitchens and his grandson, Kelton Wylie. The pre-game show will start at 5:45 p.m.
