David Posey
David Posey, age 50 of Breckenridge, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
David Wayne Posey was born on July 5, 1968, to parents, O.B. Posey and Lois McMichael Posey in Gorman, Texas. He graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1986. David worked in construction for most of his life. He enjoyed cooking out, working on cars and fishing with his brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, O.B. and Lois Posey; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Mary Meredith; three children, Brianna Posey, Tristan Posey and Hannah Foster; two sisters, Tammy Dennington of Breckenridge and Toni Sanders and husband Jacky of Knox City; one brother, Butch Posey of Breckenridge; three grandchildren, Riley Foster, Slade Cooper Foster and Henlee Lynn Foster; and several nieces and nephews.
