Youth basketball, soccer leagues accepting registrations now
Several youth sports leagues are having sign-ups this week:
Breckenridge Youth Boys Basketball
Breckenridge Youth Boys Basketball for boys in grades 3 through 6 will have sign-ups from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Hibbitt Sports, 3732 W. Walker St., and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Breckenridge Interbank Coffee Room, 301 W. Walker.
No late registrations will be accepted. The cost is $40 per child (check or cash).

Breckenridge Girls Youth Basketball
Sign-ups for the Breckenridge Girls Youth Basketball (grades 3 through 6) will take place through Thursday, Jan. 17. Sign-up forms are available at The Bouquet & Co. and Pixie Dust Event Rentals, 119 E. Walker St., and can be picked up any day until Jan. 17.
Tryouts and draft will be Monday, Jan. 21, at LT Cook Gym, and will begin at 7:30 p.m. For more information, contact Krista Wilcox via Facebook Messenger or at 254-559-0486.
Breckenridge Youth Soccer (Lil’ Kickers)
Spring 2019 registration for Breckenridge Youth Soccer (Lil’ Kickers) is now open. The season will begin the first week of March.
All registrations must be in by Feb. 3 to avoid late fee. Feb. 12 will be the last day to register.
The regular registration fee (by Feb. 3) is $45 per child. There is a family discount of $10 for three or more children. Breckenridge Youth Soccer accepts cash, check, money orders, and credit card. Registration will not be honored until the funds are paid. Registrations done online will require a valid credit/debit card.
All registrations received after Feb. 3 will require an additional $10 late fee per child. No exceptions will be made. After February 12, no late registrations will be accepted.
The draft will be held Feb. 12 (coaches only). Parents should expect to receive a phone call from their child’s coach the week after the draft.
