James Henry Noggle, Sr. passed from this life on January 2, 2019, surrounded by his
loving caregivers, stepson Kevin Taylor and wife Lindsey. He was born to Otho H. and
Jewel Noggle on September 05, 1941, in Breckenridge, Texas. A memorial service and
celebration of James’s life will be held at New Hope Baptist Church #3 in La Casa, Texas,
on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Otho Noggle, presiding.

James attended Breckenridge High School and was a member of the 1958 State
Championship Buckaroo Football Team. His love of football was lived on as he coached
his son’s youth football team in Carrolton, Texas, for several years. He was very proud
and supportive of Tracy playing football throughout his high school years.

James married Joyce E. Leonard on May 15, 1971. They had one son, Tracy Daryl Noggle.
James was a machinist by trade and started that career at R.E. Dye Manufacturing. After
moving to the DFW metroplex, he continued that career until he retired.

On February 15, 1992, James married Kathleen Cook Taylor in Collin County. They made
their home in Richardson, Texas. His passion for bowling was shared by his wife,
Kathy, who was also a very accomplished bowler. His passion for bowling was passed
on to his grandson, TJ, who has bowled in competition across the US. They shared a
very special “bowling” bond. James was well known in the bowling community through
his 50 + years of league bowling and serving on the Local, State and National Bowling
Boards. He always had time to mentor and coach youth bowlers. His knowledge of
bowling was muchly respected.

James is survived by his son, Tracy Daryl Noggle of Breckenridge; stepson, Kevin
Taylor and wife Lindsey of Richardson; brothers, Otho J. Noggle and wife Annie Mae of
Breckenridge, Alford Noggle and wife Martha of Breckenridge, and Tommie Noggle of
Midlothian; sisters, Barbara Farmer of Breckenridge and Judy Creager and husband
Chester of Breckenridge; four grandchildren, Tracy Junior (TJ) Noggle, Savannah Verity
Taylor, Forrest Rushing and Savannah Rushing; and numerous nieces, nephews, and
great-nieces and great-nephews.

James was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Noggle; sons James H. Noggle Jr. and
Joseph Noggle; and parents Otho H. and Jewel Noggle of Breckenridge.
