moving to the DFW metroplex, he continued that career until he retired.

On February 15, 1992, James married Kathleen Cook Taylor in Collin County. They made
their home in Richardson, Texas. His passion for bowling was shared by his wife,
Kathy, who was also a very accomplished bowler. His passion for bowling was passed
on to his grandson, TJ, who has bowled in competition across the US. They shared a
very special “bowling” bond. James was well known in the bowling community through
his 50 + years of league bowling and serving on the Local, State and National Bowling
Boards. He always had time to mentor and coach youth bowlers. His knowledge of
bowling was muchly respected.
