DA’s office releases list of October plea deals

The 90th Judicial District Attorney’s office, which covers Stephens and Young counties, has announced the following cases that were pleaded in Stephens County in October:

  • Adam Christopher Reeve, 39, Breckenridge: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Burglary of Habitation and was sentenced to 30 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – Institutional Division, and to pay court costs; and pleaded True to the allegations in the State’s Motion Revoke Community Supervision for the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000 and was sentenced to 22 months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice – State Jail Division and to pay remaining fine, restitution, and court costs.
  • John Claude Garrett, 44, Breckenridge: Pleaded True to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Revoke Community Supervision for the offense of Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or More, and was sentenced to 6 years confinement in the TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining fine and court costs.
  • Miguel Angel Rangel, 33, Breckenridge: Pleaded True to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Continuous Violence Against the Family, and was sentenced to 6 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay court costs.
  • Devon Ray Lynch, 23, Breckenridge: Pleaded True to the allegations in the State’s Motion to Adjudicate Community Supervision for the offense of Forgery Financial Instrument Against Elderly Individual and was sentenced to 3 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay remaining fine and court costs; and pleaded Guilty to the offense of Forgery Government/National Instrument/Money/Security and was sentenced to 3 years confinement in TDCJ-ID, and to pay court costs.
  • Jordan Charles Szoke 26, Breckenridge: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000 and was sentenced to 15 months confinement in TDCJ-SJ, and to pay $1,500 fine, restitution, and court costs.
  • Trey Lawrence Graves, 19, Mineral Wells: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Theft of Property $2,500 or More but Less Than $30,000 and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay $500 fine and court costs; and pleaded guilty to the offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision, and to pay court costs.
  • David Allen Loving, 33, Breckenridge: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Possession of Controlled Substance Less Than 1 Gram – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision and to pay $750 fine, restitution, and court costs.
  • Luis Midina Ruiz, 55, Breckenridge: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Forgery – Government/National Instrument/Money/Security and was sentenced to 5 years community supervision and to pay $1,500 fine and court costs.
  • Jonathan David Berry, 45, Breckenridge: Pleaded guilty to the offense of Theft of Cattle/Horse/Exotic Livestock Less Than $150,000 and was sentenced to 4 years community supervision, and to pay $750 fine, restitution, and court costs.
