BFAC exhibit features work by Patty Rae Wellborn
Abilene artist Patty Rae Wellborn will exhibit her work of abstract expressionism paintings in the Breckenridge Fine Arts Center’s Clark Auditorium through Jan. 4.
Wellborn, one of the owners of Calypso Gallery in Abilene, primarily paints oil on canvas, and many of her paintings are large, 30-by-48 inches and 36-by-48 inches, for example. In addition to painting, Wellborn also teaches classes in drawing and painting.
The Breckenridge Fine Arts Center, located at 207 N. Breckenridge Ave., is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is free and open to the public, but donations are accepted. For more information, call 254-559-5502.
