Breckenridge Craft Show to offer hand-crafted items this weekend

What do pies and quilts and leather purses and hair accessories have in common? All of that and much more will be for sale at the 2018 Craft Show, hosted by the Breckenridge Craft Guild this weekend.

The show will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in First United Methodist Church’s Christian Life Center, , 419 W. Walker St.

For an entrance fee, the craft guild requests a $1 donation. The organization donates the proceeds from the craft show to local charities. In the past, they have donated to Meals on Wheels, for breast cancer awareness and research and organizations providing children’s clothing and shoes.

There will be door prizes given away each day.

Some of the vendors scheduled to have booths include:

  • Dean and Margaret Ables with leather arts and crafts, full size quilts and other quilted items

  • Dana Boggs with hand-made leather purses, men and women’s billfolds
  • Karen Chakerian with homemade candy, jams, jellies, relish, bread and pies
  • Lois Covey with breads, Christmas baskets, marshmallow trees and bath salts
  • Glenna Ramsey with decorative woods, lighted bottles, fence pickets, crocheted hats and potholders
  • Paula Grissom and Kay Meadows with baby and kitchen items, misc. household items
  • Tina Ramsaier with cowboy candy, relishes and misc.
  • Kiki Bartram with potholders, lap wraps, hair accessories and pet jackets
  • Betty Bordelon with reclaimed wood crafts and signs
  • Donna Mehaffy with crocheted rugs

Additionally, food and drinks will be served in the kitchen.
