Crystal L. Carey
Crystal Carey, age 49 passed away on October 24, 2018, in Abilene, Texas. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 29, 2018, at 11 in the morning at Moon Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Melton- Kitchens Funeral Home.
Crystal was born October 22, 1969, to Merle and Carol Carey in Breckenridge, Texas. Some of Crystal’s happiest of times were spent with family, especially her grandchildren. They were the light of her life. Crystal truly lived life through the simple pleasures in life, and taught her loved ones that valuable lesson.
Crystal is survived by her mother, Charlene Carey of Breckenridge; daughter, Caycee Mendez of Woodson, Texas; son, Ryan and Jennifer Mendez of Clinton, Oklahoma; brother, Rusty Carey and wife Tammy of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Starla, Peyton, Cayler; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny Carey; great-grandparents, Pee Wee and Patty Russell.
The family requests any memorials, in lieu of flowers be made to the local Breckenridge Meals on Wheels.
