Rex Owens
Rex Owens, age 25 of Breckenridge, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, at Gunsight Baptist Church with Rev. Rex Boggs officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.
Rex Tanner Owens was born September 13, 1993, in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School and later married Heaven Brewster on December 6, 2012, in Breckenridge. Rex worked for Breckenridge Tanks as a welder and loved spending time with his kids.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sue Lancaster.
Rex is survived by his wife, Heaven Owens of Eastland; his two children, Audrey Owens and Gavin Owens, both of Eastland; his parents, Kenneth Owens of Arlington and Leann Owens of Clyde; one brother, Jordan Lancaster and wife Jessica of Breckenridge; one sister, Devin Roberts and husband Aaron of Abilene; and, his grandparents, Richard Lancaster and wife Edilima of Breckenridge.
